Before becoming an SJS Products approved supplier, the potential partner must first go through our rigorous approval process.
Potential suppliers must provide a copy of their ISO 9001 Certificate or complete a Supplier Self-Assessment Survey: SJS Form FQC0048, which is used to review the supplier’s quality system. Questions are based on the ISO 9001 standard, general business practices, supplier capabilities and social responsibility.
Onsite audits are then conducted by trained SJS Products, a Jamcor Corporation’s personnel. These audits are used to review the supplier’s facility and to determine if the supplier is capable of consistently producing conforming products. During this factory audit, areas such as, but not limited to, the following will be reviewed:
- Production Processes
- Quality: Receiving, In-process and Final Inspection
- Training Records of Personnel
- Calibration of Tools (Factory)
In addition to a rigorous practice of Supplier Qualification, SJS Products, a Jamcor Corporation also can conduct in-house testing. Below are some examples of the testing we can provide for our customers:
